In the evening, His Honour and Ms Jones attended the Vietnam Veterans Day commemoration service at Reg Hillier House.

Afterwards, His Honour and Ms Jones received Lieutenant Colonel Jean Roy, Commanding Officer, Regimental Sergeant Major David Shultz, 4th Canadian Ranger Patrol Group accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Medlin and Warrant Officer Class 1 Benjamin Read, North West Mobile Force for a Courtesy Call. The Canadian Ranger Patrol Group are similar to NORFORCE in Australia. Subsequently, the Administrator, as Patron and Ms Jones received Mr Barry Thomas, President and newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Mr Kerry Whiting, HPA Incorporated for a Courtesy Call.

In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory as Patron and Ms Ruth Jones received Ms Rachael Bowker, Chief Executive Officer, Darwin Community Legal Service for a Courtesy Call. Subsequently, His Honour, as Patron and Ms Jones received Mr Ashish Raj Jamarkattel, President, Mr Yuba Raj Panta, Mr Sanjeev Dhakal and Mr Trilochan Sapkota, Board Members, of the Nepalese Association of the Northern Territory for a Courtesy Call.

In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones received Her Excellency Mrs Caroline Bichet-Anthamatten, Ambassador of Switzerland, accompanied by Mrs Sonia Paspaley Honorary Consul for Switzerland in the Northern Territory for a Courtesy Call. In the afternoon, His Honour as Patron and Ms Jones received Mr Andrew Turner, Chair, Ms Megan Saltmarsh, Executive Manager NT and Ms Rachael Bowker, Member Advisory Committee, Volunteering NT for a Courtesy Call. In the evening, the Administrator and Ms Jones hosted a reception at Government House for the 2023 Administrator's Medal for Royal Life Saving Society Australia - Northern Territory Branch.

In the evening, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones attended the Northern Territory Defence Ball at the Larrakeyah Defence Precinct. His Honour is Representative Colonel of North West Mobile Force and Honourary Air Commodore of 13 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force.

In the evening, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones attended the 2023 Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards, at the Museum and Art Gallery Northern Territory.
