In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, attended the annual commemoration in honour of the winners of the 1919 Great Air Race, from England to Australia, Sir Keith Smith, Sir Ross Smith and the crew of the Vickers Vimy G-EAOU, at the Ross Smith Memorial, Fannie Bay.
