In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, unveiled two wall plaques at Goodstart Early Learning Centre in Wulagi, which is the first centre in Australia and the first globally to achieve both bronze and silver Eco-Tots sustainability accreditation, linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals under the Eco-School program.
In the afternoon, His Honour and Ms Jones attended a tour and lunch of the Salvation Army's Sunrise Centre in Berrimah.

In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones hosted a farewell Luncheon at Government House for outgoing Senior Defence Force Officers of the Northern Territory and the Commander of the Marine Rotational Force Darwin.

In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones attended a tour and briefing of the exhibition, 40: Celebrating four decades of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards at the Museum and Art Gallery Northern Territory.
In the evening, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, announced the Flash Fiction Award winner, at The Northern Territory Literary Awards 2023 presentation ceremony, at Parliament House.
