In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, as Deputy Prior of St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc, and Ms Jones, as Patron received Mr Andrew Tombs, Chief Executive Officer and Mr Mark Ferguson of St John Ambulance NT for a Courtesy Call. Subsequently, they proceeded to a Priory Meeting with St John representatives.

In the morning, as part of his statutory duties, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, conducted a swearing-in Ceremony to appoint The Honourable Trevor Riley AO as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory.

In the evening, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones attended the Brown's Mart Theatre 2023 Program Launch in support of the arts.

The Administrator-Designate, Professor Hugh Heggie PSM and Ms Ruth Jones attended Government House and the Offices of the Administrator to receive briefings with the Official Secretary, Mr Craig Kitchen MVO.

In the early afternoon, Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AO CVO, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Mr Craig O’Halloran received the Honourable Natasha Fyles MLA, Chief Minister of the Northern Territory for a Courtesy Call. Later, the Administrator was ceremonially farewelled at Government House, by the Chief Minister and Senior Australia Defence Officers. Her Honour received the Royal Salute before inspecting an Honour Guard and was then presented with the Australian National Flag and the flag of the Northern Territory by the Official Secretary, Mr Craig Kitchen MVO. Her Honour and Mr O’Halloran then departed Government House with a police motorcycle escort in ‘NT1’, officially completing their term in office.

In the evening, Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AO CVO, Administrator of the Northern Territory accompanied by Mr Craig O’Halloran, attended and addressed guests, at a farewell reception held in their honour at Parliament House, hosted by the Honourable Natasha Fyles MLA, Chief Minister of the Northern Territory.
