Government House is led by the Official Secretary to the Administrator of the Northern Territory (NT), Mr Craig Kitchen MVO.

The Official Secretary has oversight of all strategic, administrative and operational support to the Administrator relating to the performance of their official duties and provides management of the historic Government House estate at 14 and 29 Esplanade.

The staff of Government House support the Official Secretary to care for Government House and to deliver the Administrator’s statutory, ceremonial and civic duties.

Government House is staffed by employees through the Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet
