Celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, on the beautiful grounds of Government House!

The Administrator and Ms Jones invite you to enjoy music from the Band of the 1st Brigade and view highlights of the Coronation live from Westminster Abbey on screens provided at Government House.

The State Rooms will be open for self-guided tours between 5.30 and 6.15 pm with the Band of the 1st Brigade performing live from 6.30 pm.

Bring your friends and family together at Government House to share in this historic occasion with an evening of music and celebration. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from local providers.

Please note:

No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the Grounds of Government House. Food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from local vendors.

The House and the grounds are a smoke-free environment.

Start your day with a beautiful sunrise yoga session followed by gentle meditation on the Terrace at Government House. Hosted by Darwin Yoga and Meditation, this class is suitable for everyone, even if you've never tried yoga before.

Bring your yoga mat, water bottle and a towel.

Tickets open for registration 10 days prior to the event.

Our annual Open Days are a wonderful opportunity to view the historic State Rooms and beautiful tropical gardens at your leisure. Light refreshments, family friendly activities and entertainment will be provided by local community organisations and everyone is welcome!
