Australian Honours and Awards
The Australian Honours and Awards system recognises the outstanding service and contributions of Australians.
The awards are our nation’s highest honour.
For Northern Territory recipients, the Administrator hosts investiture ceremonies twice a year at Government House.
On certain occasions, the Administrator may also travel to a recipient’s home community to present their award.
How to nominate
Anyone can be nominated – from community volunteers to scientists, and entrepreneurs to educators.
If you wish to nominate a Territorian or to find more information, go to The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia website.
