In the morning, His Honour the Honourable David Connolly, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Sue Brosnan OLY undertook official travel to Katherine and attended associated official engagements.

Thereafter, His Honour and Ms Brosnan, attended a briefing by Northern Territory Police, Katherine Division.

Subsequently, The Administrator, accompanied by Ms Brosnan, attended a tour of the Katherine CBD to inspect flood damage of affected businesses with Mayor Joanne Holden.

Later, The Administrator, accompanied by Ms Brosnan, attended the private residence of Greg and Darilyn Wright for a tour of their flood affected home.

Afterwards, The Vice Regal couple attended a visit to both the Rocky Ridge Aged Care and Australian Regional and Remote Community Services Katherine Hostel.

Then, His Honour and Ms Brosnan attended a tour and briefing of the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre Field Hospital.

In the afternoon, His Honour and Ms Brosnan attended an informal Volunteer Reception at Godinymayin Yijard River Ars and Culture Centre.

In the evening, The Administrator, accompanied by Ms Brosnan, presented the Steve Abala Role Model Administrator’ Medal at the 2026 Northern Territory Sports Awards presentation at DoubleTree by Hilton.
