In the afternoon, His Honour the Honourable David Connolly, Administrator of the Northern Territory, accompanied by Ms Sue Brosnan OLY, attended, presented and officially opened the 47th Litchfield Rural Show Opening Ceremony and Grand Parade at Livingstone.

Afterwards, His Honour attended the Northline Speedway Championship: Round 2 Race Meeting at Hidden Valley to recognise and thank volunteers during Volunteer Week.
