In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, attended a City of Darwin Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony, at Lyons Community Centre.

In the evening, His Honour unveiled his Official Portrait as the 23rd Administrator of the Northern Territory and held a reception at Government House.
