In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, participated in the Soldier On 'March On Challenge', at Darwin Esplanade.

In the afternoon, Ms Jones attended the United Nations Association of Australia, Northern Territory Division International Women's Day Luncheon, at Mindil Beach Casino.

Afterwards, the Administrator, accompanied by Ms Jones, presented two Life Memberships at the National Trust of Australia Northern Territory afternoon tea, at Audit House, in Larrakeyah.
