In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, upon returning to the Territory, reassumed administration of the Government of the Northern Territory.

Later, His Honour, hosted a school tour for students from Palmerston College, at Government House.

In the afternoon, the Administrator presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Subsequently, as part of his statutory duties, His Honour, conducted a swearing-in Ceremony to appoint Ms Naomi Loudon as Acting Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (ICAC) of the Northern Territory.
