In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, accompanied by Ms Jones, attended the Nhulunbuy Australia Day Awards and Citizenship Ceremony, at Nhulunbuy Town Hall. His Honour presented conferees with certificates and presented the Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year, and Local Hero of the Year.
