In the evening, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, as Patron, accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, officially opened the Thailand Grand Festival hosted by the Northern Territory Thai Association, at Civic Park.
