In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, delivered a Christmas Hamper to the Territory Emergency Operations as a small gesture of thanks for their efforts during Cyclone Fina, at Peter McAulay Centre, in Berrimah.

In the evening, His Honour, as Chief Scout of the Northern Territory, presented Meritorious Service Awards to Evan Johns, Shane Pascoe-Bell and 5 year Service Awards to Jason and Bianca Tong, at a Scout Awards Night, at Howard Springs Scout Hall.
