In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, received Her Excellency Dr Julie Sunday, High Commissioner of Canada, accompanied by Ms Sarah Quigley, Acting Consul General of Canada for a courtesy call.

In the evening, His Honour and Ms Ruth Jones, hosted a community reception to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Australian Honours System, at Government House.
