In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, received Ms Nicole Hurwood, Chief Executive Officer of Office of the Commissioner for Public Employment, for a courtesy call.

In the evening, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended a reception for the Northern Territory Australian of the Year Recipients, at Parliament House.
