In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones travelled to Gunbalanya.

On arrival, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended a viewing of a photographic display, at Gunbalanya Church.

Next, the Vice Regal couple, attended the Church Song and Prayer with Anglican Bishop of the Northern Territory Greg Anderson and Reverend Lois Nadjamerrek at Gunbalanya Church.

Subsequently, the Administrator and Ms Jones, attended the re-enactment of the first school under the tree, Welcome to Country Smoking Ceremony, walk through of displays and a morning tea, at Gunbalanya School Primary Campus.

Later, His Honour, accompanied by Ms Jones, attended and addressed at the Gunbalanya Community School Centenary Celebration, at Gunbalanya School Primary Campus.

Afterwards, the Vice Regal couple, travelled to Cooinda.

In the afternoon, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended a tour and briefing of the Yellow Waters cruise with Traditional Owner Ms Eva Petersen.

In the evening, the Administrator and Ms Jones, attended an informal dinner with Mr Jason Cleverley, Cooinda Lodge Hotel Manager and Traditional Owner Ms Eva Petersen.
