In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, attended an interview with ABC Radio Alice Springs.
Subsequently, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended a tour and briefing of Clontarf program, guided by two students, Michael Watts and Nathan Watts, who provided thoughtful insights into their experiences, at Centralian Middle Academy.
Next, the Administrator, accompanied by Ms Jones, attended a morning tea with members of the Men’s Shed Alice Springs, at Bunnings.
Later in the afternoon, the Vice Regal couple, met with members of Red Dust, sharing messages on the importance of fostering cultural, social and emotional wellbeing for mob on Country, with family and Elders, in Ciccone.
In the afternoon, His Honour and Ms Jones, as joint Patrons, visited the team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service where they were presented with a King Air Model Aircraft from Mr Shane Malyone, Tourist Facility Manager.
In the evening, His Honour, as Patron, accompanied by Ms Jones, presented five gold awards and three long service awards, at the Duke of Edinburgh's International Ceremony Alice Springs, at Mercure.
