His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones undertook official travel to Alice Springs for a residency in Central Australia.

In the morning, His Honour and Ms Ruth Jones, attended a tour and briefing of the Desert Knowledge Precinct with Desert Knowledge Australia, Batchelor Institute and Centre for Appropriate Technology.

Next, the Vice Regal Couple, attended a tour and briefing at the Akeyulerre Healing Centre.

Afterwards, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended a tour and briefing with the Northern Territory Emergency Services Alice Springs Volunteer Unit.
