In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, attended a tour and briefing of the Katherine Hospital.

Subsequently, the Administrator and Ms Jones, attended a morning tea with the Nitmiluk National Park Board, at Ranger Station GQ at the George Nitmiluk National Park.

In the evening, the Vice Regal couple, hosted a Katherine Community Farewell Function and presented two awards for Seniors of Excellence, at Top Didj Art Gallery.

His Honour the Honourable Chief Justice Michael Grant AO, Acting Administrator of the Northern Territory, accompanied by Ms Marita Fitzpatrick, presented awards at the Duke of Edinburgh's International Ceremony, at Parliament House.

Ms Fran Kilgariff AM, Deputy of the Administrator of the Northern Territory, represented His Honour at the Alice Springs Town Council Mayoral Christmas Function 2025, at Town Council Centre.
