In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, attended the International Women's Day Luncheon, hosted by the United Nations Association of Australia, Northern Territory Division, at Mindil Beach Casino.

In the evening, His Honour and Ms Jones hosted a dinner at Government House to celebrate International Women's Day.
