In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, attended a tour and briefing of the Art Shed organised by Art Centres across the Territory and Barunga School Students hosted by Mayor Jack, at Barunga Festival.

Subsequently, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended a meeting with the Jawoyn peoples camp and the Banatjarl Strongbala Wimun Group hosted by Mayor Jack, at Culture Park.

Next, the Administrator and Ms Jones, attended a meeting with the Bagala Elders hosted by Mayor Jack, near Culture Park.

In the afternoon, the Vice Regal couple, attended the AFL Youth game hosted by Mayor Jack, at Barunga Oval.

Afterwards, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended the Opening Ceremony of the Barunga Festival, at Culture Park.

In the evening, the Administrator and Ms Jones, attended the AFL game of the day hosted by Mayor Jack, at Barunga Oval.
