In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, received Northern Territory Police Commissioner Michael Murphy APM, Dr Jo Lee and Detective Sergeant Dale Motter-Barnard, for a Courtesy Call.

In the evening, His Honour, as Patron, accompanied by Ms Jones, presented at the 2025 Australian of the Year Awards for the Northern Territory, at Darwin Convention Centre.
