In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, received Group Captain Melissa Neilson, the incoming Commander, Headquarters Northern Command, for an introductory Courtesy Call.

In the evening, His Honour, as Deputy Prior and Knight of Grace of the Order of St John, officially unveiled an interpretive sign to mark the 50th Anniversary of Cyclone Tracy and Ms Jones, as Patron of St John NT, presented St John Ambulance Commendation Medals to the first responders who worked during Cyclone Tracy, at Parap Ambulance Station, in Parap.

Subsequently, as part of the international 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence the Administrator, attended the 'Break the Cycle' – NO MORE talk with Matt and Sarah Brown from ‘She Is Not Your Rehab’, at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Esplanade Darwin.
