In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, presented the Administrator's Cup, at the bet365 Palmerston Sprint Day, at Darwin Turf Club.

In the evening, His Honour, accompanied by Ms Jones, attended the 2024 Sportsbet Darwin Turf Club Gala Ball, at Mindil Beach Casino Resort.
