In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, participated in the Reconciliation Week Storytime Session hosted by the City of Palmerston, at Palmerston Civic Centre.

In the evening, His Honour, as Patron, accompanied by Ms Jones, delivered an address at the 2024 Darwin Festival Program Launch, at Deckchair Cinema.
