In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, attended a wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the 28th October 1940 "OXI" Day, at the Greek Community Hall, in Darwin City.

In the evening, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended, and celebrated the Deepavali/Diwali Festival of Lights, at Harmony Hall, in Malak.
