In the morning, as part of his statutory duties, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, conducted a swearing-in ceremony to appoint Ms Kirsten Kelly as Northern Territory Electoral Commissioner.

Subsequently, His Honour and Ms Jones, received Colonel Marco Bertoli, Italian Defence Attache for a Courtesy Call.

In the evening, the Administrator, attended celebrations for the 103rd Anniversary of the Royal Australian Air Force, at Darwin Aviation Heritage Museum.
