In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, officially opened the 72nd Multiple District 201 Lions Convention, at Darwin Convention Centre.

Subsequently, His Honour received Ms Petrina Fraccaro, Chief Executive Officer, Cystic Fibrosis sufferer Ms Heidi Stewart and Miss Elektra Parcoi, Cystic Fibrosis Queensland for a Courtesy Call.

In the evening, the Vice Regal couple, hosted a reception at Government House for the 60th Anniversary of the Northern Territory Water Ski Association Incorporated.

Afterwards, the Administrator, as Patron, accompanied by Ms Jones, attended a performance by Electric Fields Music and Darwin Symphony Orchestra presented by the Garrmalang Festival, at Darwin Entertainment Centre.
