In the morning, as part of his statutory duties, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, conducted a Swearing-in Ceremony to appoint Graham Hiley RFD as Acting Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory.

Subsequently, His Honour, received Mr Craig Graham, Under Treasurer, Department of Treasury and Finance for a Courtesy Call.

In the afternoon, the Vice Regal couple, attended a Ceremonial Sitting to mark the retirement of the Honourable Justice Peter Barr, at the Supreme Court Northern Territory.

In the evening, the Administrator, accompanied by Ms Jones, attended the 2023 Northern Territory Board of Studies Scholars ceremony and presented the Year 6 and Year 9 Administrator’s Medals Award recipients, at the Darwin Convention Centre.
