In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, as Patron, and Ms Ruth Jones attended a tour and briefing of the new Educational Community Precinct at Charles Darwin University in Darwin City.

Later, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended the Grand Opening Celebration of Essington Preschool and Long Day Care Centre, in Rapid Creek.
