In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, attended the Official Opening of the Casuarina Aquatic and Leisure Centre, in Casuarina.

In the evening, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended the 2024 Darwin NAIDOC Ball and Awards Ceremony hosted by Larrakia Nation Aboriginal Corporation, at Darwin Convention Centre.
