The Administrator, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council, at Government House.

Subsequently, His Honour, conducted a swearing-in Ceremony to appoint Ms Naomi Loudon as Acting Independent Commissioner Against Corruption of the Northern Territory. Afterwards, His Honour, conducted a swearing-in Ceremony to appoint Mr Jara Dean, as the Auditor-General of the Northern Territory.

In the afternoon, the Administrator and Ms Ruth Jones, received members of Top End Pride Northern Territory Inc. for a Courtesy Call.

In the evening, the Vice Regal couple, attended a dinner with the 2024 Australian of the Year hosted by the Cancer Council Northern Territory, at DoubleTree by Hilton.
