In the morning,His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie AO PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, attended the official opening and dedication of the Family Violence Refuge Services, hosted by the Salvation Army Australia Territory, in Moulden.

In the evening, His Honour and Ms Jones, attended the Darwin Film Society Opening Night of the Deckchair Cinema.
