In the evening, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, attended the 2024 Australian of the Year Awards for the Northern Territory, to present the winners of 2024 Northern Territory Australia’s Local Hero and the 2024 Northern Territory Young Australian of the Year, at the Darwin Convention Centre.
