In the afternoon, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, received Mr Manik Gowda, President of Indian Cultural Society of the Northern Territory, accompanied by Mr Hitesh Sharma, Secretary and Mr Harpreet Kaur, Assistant Secretary for a Courtesy Call.

Afterwards, His Honour, as Knight of Grace of the Order of St John, and Ms Jones as Patron, attended and officially launched the book of "About the Order of St John" written by Mr Frank Dunstan CStJ, in Tiwi.

In the evening, the Administrator and Ms Jones, hosted a Presentation Ceremony at Government House, for the 2023 Administrator’s Medals, for Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services.

Subsequently, the Vice Regal couple, attended the Australian-American Association of the Northern Territory Incorporated end of year celebration, at the Darwin Convention Centre.
