In the early afternoon, Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AO CVO, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Mr Craig O’Halloran received the Honourable Natasha Fyles MLA, Chief Minister of the Northern Territory for a Courtesy Call.

Later, The Administrator was ceremonially farewelled at Government House, by the Chief Minister and Senior Australia Defence Officers. Her Honour received the Royal Salute before inspecting an Honour Guard and was then presented with the Australian National Flag and the flag of the Northern Territory by the Official Secretary, Mr Craig Kitchen MVO. Her Honour and Mr O’Halloran then departed Government House with a police motorcycle escort in ‘NT1’, officially completing their term in office.

The Honourable Chief Justice Michael Grant AO will assume administration of the government of the Northern Territory, as Acting Administrator, until Wednesday 1 February 2023 inclusive.
