In the evening, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, addressed and participated by singing in the choir, at the annual Carols by Candlelight, hosted by Christmas in Darwin Association, at the Botanic Gardens Amphitheatre.
