In the morning, as part of his statutory duties, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, conducted a swearing-in Ceremony to appoint the Honourable Graham Riley RFD as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory.

Subsequently, the Administrator and Ms Ruth Jones attended a tour and briefing of Flinders University and enjoyed morning tea with the students and staff.
