In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, as Patron, accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, officially opened and unveiled a plaque, at the Carers NT Howard Springs Wellbeing Centre.

In the afternoon, His Honour, accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, conducted an Investiture Ceremony for Mrs Valerie Watters OAM, a 2023 King’s Birthday Honours and Award recipient, at Government House.

In the evening, the Administrator, accompanied by Ms Jones, delivered a welcome address at the Inaugural Allied Health Excellence Awards, at Parliament House.
