In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones attended a state Funeral for Mrs Fay Miller AM, at Christ Church Cathedral.

In the evening, His Honour and Ms Jones attended an official gathering and welcome for the 2023 Garrmalang Festival, at the Darwin Entertainment Centre.
