In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, and Ms Jones, attended further tours and briefings of 75 Squadron, by Wing Commander Fiona Pearce and Warrant Officer Jason Pyke.

In the afternoon, His Honour, accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, conducted an Investiture Ceremony for Mr Alan Young Najukpayi OAM, a 2023 Australia Day Honours and Award recipient, at the Katherine Town Council Library.

In the evening, the Vice Regal couple, as joint Patrons, presented awards at the 2023 Territory Sustainable Community Tidy Towns Awards Dinner, hosted by Keep Australia Beautiful Council Northern Territory, at Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre.
