In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory received the Honourable Natasha Fyles MLA, Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, for a Courtesy Call. The Chief Minister requested His Honour issue a writ for a by-election in the Division of Arafura.

In the afternoon, the Administrator accompanied by Ms Jones, attended and presented certificates at the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services Aboriginal Liaison Officer Recruit Squad 7 Graduation Ceremony.

In the evening, His Honour as Patron and Ms Jones, hosted a reception for the Christmas in Darwin Association Inc, at Government House.
