In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, joined by Ms Ruth Jones, laid a wreath and addressed guests at the 81st Anniversary of the Bombing of Katherine, commemorative event.

In the afternoon, His Honour and Ms Jones attended a tour at Godinmayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre before departing Katherine to return to Darwin.
