In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Jones departed for official travel to Katherine, via Pine Creek, where they attended a tour of Pine Creek School.

The Administrator and Ms Jones arrived in Katherine in the early afternoon and visited the staff at Wurli-Wurlinjang Health Service.

In the evening, His Honour and Ms Jones attended a Harmony Day celebration and citizenship ceremony at the Katherine Town Council Chambers, hosted by Her Worship the Mayor of Katherine, Mrs Elizabeth Clark and met with Council representatives, business owners and community members.
