In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones attended a tour and briefing of Riding for the Disabled Alice Springs, at Blatherskite Park.

Subsequently, His Honour and Ms Ruth Jones attended a tour of the Desert Mob Art Exhibition, at the Araluen Arts Centre.

In the evening, His Honour conducted an Investiture Ceremony for the Alice Springs 2023 Australia Day King’s Birthday Honours and Awards recipients and hosted a community reception, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.
