In the morning, as part of his statutory duties, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, conducted a swearing-in Ceremony to appoint Acting Justice Meredith Huntingford as a Judge of the Northern Territory Supreme Court.

In the afternoon, His Honour, and Ms Jones hosted an Afternoon Tea at Government House for students from the Casuarina Senior College, Stars Foundation Program, a mentoring program that supports young Indigenous women to achieve their goals.
