In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones, met with students from Palmerston College at Government House as part of Commonwealth Week school tours.

In the afternoon, His Honour as Patron of Council of the Ageing Northern Territory, and Ms Jones visited the staff at their offices.
