In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Jones travelled to the community of Ampilatwatja, where His Honour conducted an Investiture Ceremony for Mrs Eileen Bonney OAM, recipient in the 2023 Australia Day Honours and Award.

In the afternoon, His Honour and Ms Jones returned to Alice Springs where they met with Mrs Karen Blanchfield, former member Teachers Registration Board for a courtesy call.

And subsequently, received Mr Paul Ah Chee, Chair Aboriginal Tourism Committee, Cultural Advisor Major Events and Board Member Tourism NT for a courtesy call.
